This step will allow you to connect the Gogogate2 to an existing Wi-Fi network. You will have to click SCAN WI-FI NETWORKS, select your home network and then enter the password of your WI-FI network. You can also configure the Gogogate2 to create its own network.

 

Please fill the following fields:

1. GOGOGATE IDENTIFIER: enter a name to identify your device. This parameter can not be changed afterwards.

2. WIFI MODE: Choose if you want Gogogate2 device to connect to an external Wi-Fi network or create its own:

• CLIENT MODE: (standard installation) Use this feature to connect your device to an existing Wi-Fi network.
• ACCESS POINT MODE:  (standalone) Use this feature for your device to create its own Wi-Fi network. In this mode, you can NOT use remote access, create users or receive alerts.

3. CONFIGURATION MODE: If you selected CLIENT MODE, the device can fill automatically some of your Wi-Fi network information or you can enter it all manually:

• AUTOMATIC: Choose this option for the device to automatically look for available Wi-Fi networks and detect its encryption.
• MANUAL: Choose this option to enter manually all of your Wi-Fi network information: network name (SSID), password and encryption.

4. SCAN WI-FI NETWORKS: automatically searches for nearby networks. Click SCAN button and select your home network. If your home network doesn't appear click SCAN again or choose MANUAL option in CONFIGURATION MODE (Gogogate2 it's only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.)

5. WIFI PASSWORD: Enter the network password. Case sensitive
