6. STEP 1: NETWORK SETTINGS
In this step, you will introduce your home network settings (name, password, encryption). You can also set up Gogogate2 to create its own Wi-Fi network.
Please fill in the following fields:
1. GOGOGATE UDI: unique device identifier. Please take note of this code and keep it in a safe place.
2. CURRENT USB ADAPTER: select the type of USB adapter. (WI-FI default).
3. WIFI MODE: select the network type:
- CLIENT: (standard installation) Use this mode for the device to connect to your home network.
- ACCESS POINT: (standalone) Use this mode for the device to create its own Wi-Fi network.
4. NETWORK NAME (SSID): Introduce here your network name
5. PASSWORD: Introduce here your network password (case sensitive).
6. ENCRYPTION: Introduce here your network’s encryption.
NOTE: The selected network must be reachable (i.e. Wi-Fi signal 50% or higher) in the area where you are installing your Gogogate2.
